Our Story

In 2016, Cirque Coffee was born from a relentless pursuit of excellence. Founders Garrett O'Dell and John Pierce shared a vision: to push the boundaries of specialty coffee, refining every element—from sourcing and roasting to the precise science of brewing. Their dedication built more than a coffee brand; it created a culture of craftsmanship and innovation.

But true innovation never stands still. Shortly after launching, Austin Fogt joined the team as a partner, helping to expand Cirque’s ambitions beyond its original concept. As the brand grew, so did its ideas, culminating in a pioneering shift—the introduction of a shipping container drive-thru model. This unconventional approach brought Cirque’s meticulously crafted coffee to a wider
audience without sacrificing the quality that defined it. The model was an instant success, proving that exceptional coffee could be both accessible and expertly made.

Over the years, Cirque evolved from an experiment into an institution, known for its bold
approach and relentless commitment to better coffee. In 2024, Austin and Garrett sold Cirque in order to pursue other passions. But they weren't going to leave the brand with just anybody, so they reached out to Topeca Coffee, another a fellow leader in specialty coffee. Topeca's commitment to quality, sustainability, and transparency closely aligned with our own mission, and Topeca felt like the right partner to entrust the future of the brand; to amplify its reach and ensure its continued success. Today, the Cirque brand remains, standing as a testament to the foundation laid by O’Dell, Pierce, Fogt, and all of Cirque's dedicated employees.

With deep roots in experimentation and an unwavering commitment to craft, Cirque Coffee is poised for its next evolution. The journey isn’t over—it’s just beginning.
