Fresh Crop Weirdo V6

Since Cirque Coffee was founded, the coffee itself was the heart of the project. Now, after a decade of offering the Weirdo blend, a tried and true favorite that blends a natural process from Christian Starry’s family farm, El Xalum, and a washed process from Monte de Oro, Mario Alarcon’s family farm, we’re back for another fresh crop of this excellent Guatemalan coffee. Based in Mixco, Guatemala, Guatlab is a coffee exporting company helmed by Christian and Mario, and while they represent themselves and the farms they own and operate, they also work with a network of many local producers, amassing partnerships and offerings that punch far above their weight in terms of quality and transparency. And for this region of Guatemala, that’s really saying something!

We sampled about a dozen different coffees to get the blend tasting as true to the original Weirdo as we could get. This year, for the first time in a long while, this coffee is the exact blend that Cirque launched with, and we couldn’t be more happy to have this blend back as it was originally intended. This coffee is as fresh as it can be found here in the United States, and we can’t wait to share it with the die hard Cirque fans who’ve been after the Weirdo blend since the beginning.
